A dynamic storyteller who has reinvented himself multiple times — from failing at life, to the U.S. Olympic Team, to the national broadcast booth, to the world of manufacturing — turning a world-class competitive approach into concepts your people can apply on Monday morning.
Having never played the sport of volleyball, Kevin took just five years to arrive at the USA Olympic Team. He stayed for a decade, competing in two Olympic Games and earning MVP honors twice. Spending six years on the USA Volleyball Board brought Kevin into the business side of sport while still playing.
Moving into the broadcast booth as a play-by-play announcer and analyst, Kevin again moved rapidly to the top. Calling the last five Olympic Games for NBC, Kevin brought the same skill-development philosophy he applied in the locker room. Culminating in an Emmy win in 2024.
As a keynote speaker, Kevin works with corporate leadership teams, young professionals and college-age groups, adapting every talk to the room and sending the audience out with ideas they can apply to their job and their company.
What a bio usually leaves out, and what he brings to a room:
"Everything is learnable."
"I prefer problems be fully interrogated."
"Strong opinions, held loosely."
"No one has all your answers, but I have some."
"You may run out of skills. Do not run out of will."
"Own the truth at all costs."
"People are not just…good at stuff…"
"Footwork over mindset."
"Being on a team means taking joy in others' success, rather than joy in their defeat."
Every keynote is adapted to the audience — leadership teams, young professionals, or college-age groups — and ends with takeaways applied to their job and their company.

“Kevin brought the perfect mix of knowledge, humor, and authenticity to ALIGN, tailoring his presentation to truly connect with our audience and then continuing that connection off the stage, taking the time to talk with our directors and share his experiences.
We’d invite Kevin back every year if he’d let us.”
